Altberg Skipton Shoe

The Altberg Skipton is an oiled nubuck leather approach-style walking shoe with a Sympatex breathable/water repellent lining and a Vibram mixed terrain sole that provides exceptional cushioning and shock absorption for all-day comfort. The ‘lace-to-toe’ design provides a good level of comfort, fit, and stability while allowing for some shoe volume adjustment through the lacing.

Oiled nubuck leather is used to provide a balance of water repellency and enhanced breathability, allowing for comfort in a wider range of climate conditions. It can be treated with Leder Gris wax/paste to increase water repellency, or with Leder Bok spray to maintain its original appearance and breathability.

The shoe comes with orange laces as standard, additionally there are also a pair of brown laces supplied with each pair for those who prefer a more formal ‘toned down look’.

• Midsole: Lightweight anatomical shape individually graded to each size for optimum flex control and torsional resistance
• Sole: Vibram® multi-terrain ‘SkyRunning’ sole with PU cushioned/shock absorbing midlayer
• Footbed: Anafomical Comfort fit with ‘memory’ cushioning
• Sympatex® is an eco-friendly lining, the brushed fabric inner fabric is made from recycled materials, and the water repellent membrane is fully bio-degradable
