Scarpa Ribelle Lite HD Mountaineering Boot – Women’s
The incredibly lightweight Ribelle Lite HD from Scarpa bridges the gap between a trekking boot and a mountaineering boot. It will handle walking, scrambling, climbing and via ferrata, or strap on a crampon for glacier crossing and a bit of snowy climbing. The ARG last focuses the foot in a toe central position for precision while climbing, but it’s still comfy for all day trekking. The sock fit tongue gusset made of Schoeller fabric reduces bulk and weight and holds your foot securely. A Hyper-Dry membrane is laminated to the interior of the boot, providing reliable waterproofing, with a new Cocona fabric for greater comfort.
The Vibram Mulaz outsole has an improved cleating depth and a decent ‘climbing zone’ around the toe. The midsole features injected PU layers to provide the state of the art in weight reduction and underfoot comfort.
The Scarpa Ribelle Lite HD has a lip on the heel for crampon attachment and sits at the softer end of the B2 boot classification. Due to the softness you may require a flex bar in the middle of your crampons. Or you could team it up with any of our C1 walking crampons.
