The Scarpa Mescalito Planet is a technical shoe made for lengthy approaches and technical scrambling, and it sets a new ecological standard in technical approach and via ferrata footwear. Perspair® fabric is high performance, lightweight, and breathable, with a single-piece upper comprised of recycled yarns that mixes functionally diverse zones with abrasion-resistant PU TEK inserts. The EVA midsole is 45% recycled, while the toe rand rubber is 20% recycled rubber from production waste.
