The Petzl Spatha is THE climbers knife. The stainless steel blade is part-smooth part-serrated, with a notch for opening with bare hands and a textured wheel for gloved opening. It now locks into place for security, a nice improvement on the old style Spatha. Featuring a large hole for clipping to a karabiner or Caritool the Spatha can always be at hand.

Although designed mainly for slicing through ropes, tat and cordage, the Petzl Spatha will make light work of salami and those hard alpine cheeses!
