The best climbing helmet on the market just got better! Petzl’s Sirocco uses an Expanded Polypropylene foam for the body of the helmet, with a rigid crown piece in injected expanded polystyrene. Compared with the old Sirocco, the new model extends further down the back and sides for better protection from the kind of impacts you’re likely to get while actually falling, rather than just from rock fall. Ventilation is improved also. Webbing attachment straps are light, simple and comfortable, and the chin buckle is magnetic to make it super-easy to fasten.
