Mountain Equipment have been doing this for years: simple, effective clothing using the best materials, designed to get us from the bottom of the hill to the top with minimum fuss. All very understated but superbly effective. The G2 Mountain Pant is cut from GORE^® WINDSTOPPER^® Soft Shell fabric, and incorporates an integrated belt with removable braces, and Dyneema^® reinforced kick strips to withstand boot rub and crampons. The ankle zips have an internal gusset panel so the pants are compatible with all mountain boots, and there are removable soft shell gaiters to keep the snow out and warm air in.
