The Trango Tower GTX is an excellent multi-purpose lightweight boot for via ferrata, mountaineering or alpine hiking either above or below the snowline. 

It’s essentially a slightly beefier, stiffer version of the Trango S GTX, and it’s now C2 crampon compatible and has an improved sole, made by Vibram exclusively for La Sportiva.
