The Nutbuster from DMM is a very practical take on the traditional nut key. A rubberised piece for the end protects your hand when you’re really stabbing at a piece of stuck gear. You can also hold it far more securely by putting your index or middle finger through the hole in the middle.

Though it might seem a gimmick on an old theme, the Nutbuster really is far easier to use than a traditional nut key. As a second you are massively more likely to remove jammed gear at the first attempt and save yourself valuable energy with a Nutbuster than with a traditional nut key. The likelihood of having to use a hex to hammer on gear is greatly reduced. On a long route or with a weak second the Nutbuster offers real time and energy savings.
