Climbing Technology Click Up Belay Kit
The Click Up is a lightweight, compact assisted-braking belay device, set for use with single ropes for indoor and crag climbing. The belay karabiner can locate in two positions: in the lower position you can easily feed rope through, but when the climber falls the karabiner “clicks up” into the upper notch and adds extra friction to the rope, making it really easy to hold a fall. It contains no moving parts, so paying out the rope is quick and smooth.
Climbing Technology recommend you use the supplied Compact karabiner, which has a captive eye to ensure correct orientation and a smooth, wear-proof hard-anodised coating on a 12mm round rope-bearing surface.
